Junior Danburam FC Daura Shines in Dr. Ibrahim Galadima Cup

Junior Danburam FC Daura has put up an impressive performance in the ongoing 3rd edition of the Dr. Ibrahim Galadima Cup Football Competition, taking place at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. The team has scored an impressive 11 goals, conceding only 2, and has won all its matches so far.

In the group stage, Junior Danburam FC Daura defeated Dabo Babes FC 5-0, FC Sheshe 2-1, and Matasa FC 2-1. The team then went on to beat its arch-rivals, Kano Stars, 2-0 in the quarterfinals.

Junior Danburam FC Daura will face Mumbayya FC Kano in the semifinals on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, at 4:00 pm at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

The proprietor of the club, Prince Daha Faruk Umar, praised the resilience and dedication of his players and technical crew for their outstanding performance. He also commended the teams they defeated, particularly Kano Stars, whom they beat in all their previous two meetings in the NLO playoff.

Prince Umar stated that the team is aiming to become the champion of this year's tournament, which will serve as preparation for the next season's NLO league. With their impressive performance so far, Junior Danburam FC Daura is definitely a team to watch in the competition.

NUGA Council Fixes Date for Zone E Preliminaries
