This heartfelt gesture was made ahead of the New Year 2025. According to Nura Adam Platini, Head Coach of Kano Pillars U12, U13, and U14, "This visit is a regular gesture by the Kano Pillars Future Boys to show our support and care for the orphans during the New Year period." During the visit, Kano Pillars U12 played a friendly match against the Kano State Orphan Football Club, losing 2-1. However, Coach Platini identified two talented players from the orphanage team and offered them a spot on the Kano Pillars U12 team.
