SWAN Kano Offers Condolences to Rilwanu Idris Malikawa

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kano State Chapter, has extended its heartfelt condolences to Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, former SWAN Vice President North West and SWAN National Ex-Officio, on the passing of his elder brother on tuesday 24th December 2024.

Comrade Zaharaddeen Sale, Chairman of SWAN Kano State Chapter, expressed his sympathy on behalf of the association, saying, "We pray to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Fiddausi as his final abode. May Almighty Allah also grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss."

Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, a veteran sports broadcaster, has played a significant role in promoting sports in Nigeria, particularly in the northern region. He has served as the Media Officer of Kano Pillars Football Club, member NFF media committee and a board member of the Kano State Football Association.
