Ademola Lookman, Super Eagles forward, took home the prestigious CAF Men's African Footballer of the Year award, while Chiamaka Nnadozie, Super Falcons goalkeeper, clinched the CAF Women's Goalkeeper of the Year award. The Super Falcons were also named Women's National Team of the Year.
These awards, announced Monday night at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, are a testament to the exceptional talent and dedication of Nigerian footballers. Senator Kawu Sumaila believes this recognition will inspire upcoming athletes to pursue their dreams steadfastly.
