In a recent phone conversation with SportsZone.ng, Ali Umar Nayara, the Chairman of Kano Pillars FC, emphasized that the welfare of players is his utmost priority as the club prepares to resume home matches at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
Chairman Ali Nayara shed light on the ongoing bureaucratic processes within government structures that have delayed the salaries of new players and technical staff. He reassured fans and stakeholders that all outstanding salaries would be settled by the end of November, expressing confidence that, by God's grace, the situation will be resolved promptly. "It is normal for any new employees to face these bureaucratic delays, but we are committed to ensuring our players are compensated fairly for their hard work," he stated.
Furthermore, Umar confirmed that all match bonuses have already been disbursed, showcasing the club's dedication to maintaining its financial responsibilities towards its players. His commitment to player welfare underlines the importance Kano Pillars FC places on ensuring that its athletes feel valued and supported.
The Chairman also took this opportunity to express his gratitude to the Kano State Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, for their unwavering support to the club.
