During a press briefing on Friday, October 25, 2024, Kwankwaso revealed that approximately 85% of the renovation work has been finished.
This news means that Kano Pillars FC, the state's beloved team, will soon return to their home stadium after temporarily playing at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina for the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League Season.
