NPFL: Sunshine Stars Declare Three Players AWOL

Sunshine Stars FC has declared three of its players, Abdulrafiu Taiwo, Osimaga Duke, and Lucky Nwafor, as Absent Without Official Leave (AWOL). The club's management announced that the trio has failed to report for pre-season training without permission.

According to the club, the players' absence is unacceptable and has disrupted the team's preparation for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season. Sunshine Stars has warned other clubs and agents not to engage in transfer dealings with the three players without the club's explicit approval.

The declaration of the players as AWOL is a clear indication that Sunshine Stars is taking a firm stance on discipline and professionalism within the team. The club is determined to ensure that all players adhere to the rules and regulations governing their contracts and participation in team activities.
