In a significant move, Kano Pillars Football Club has announced the dissolution of all committees established by the former board, effective immediately. This decision follows the recent change in leadership, with Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar as the newly appointed Chairman of the club's board.
According to the Chairman, through the Media and Communication Directorate, the club's Secretary, Malam Abbati Sabo, will oversee all committee functions in the interim. This temporary arrangement will remain in place until the new board constitutes new committees.
The restructuring aims to streamline operations and ensure a seamless transition under the new administration. The Chairman expressed confidence in Malam Abbati Sabo's ability to oversee these responsibilities and emphasized the club's commitment to enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
The club appreciated the support of the Kano state Government, led by Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, fans, and partners during this period of transition.
